  Remember that even though self-storage sizes are quoted in square footage, you're acutally using cubic footage.  Most of our units are at least 8 feet high just inside the door.  Factor in the height of a unit when considering your space needs.  Can you safely stack things without damaging them?  If you can, this will give you more efficient use of your space.
